Here are some of photos from our weekend trip to Boulder, Colorado. Hope you don’t get sick of our vacation photos…
Leaving Salt Lake on Friday morning... What an odd place for a break.
The Boulder International Hostel where we stayed. Not bad for $45 a night!
Trav enjoying a Paradise Bakery chocolate chip cookie (perhaps the finest on earth) on Pearl Street in Boulder.
Wild sunflower and the Flatirons at Chautauqua Park, the night we saw Todd Park Mohr of Big Head Todd and the Monsters. It was a great concert!
Saturday, we visited Rocky Mountain National Park and saw deer, elk, vibrant fall foliage and lots of rain and snow. It was so beautiful! This is Bear Lake in the eastern part of the park.
Soaked at Nymph Lake
A beautiful view in Moraine Park
Trav jumped to this rock and then realized he would have some trouble getting back to the original rock...
The view from Rainbow Curve along Trail Ridge Road (which was closed from this point due to snow), North America's highest road, elevation 12000+ feet.
The perpetual rainbow at Rainbow Curve
Us, our new hats and Roaring River in the background
