Meet Garrett!

My new nephew Garrett was born Sunday, November 23 at 2:59 pm. He weighed 8 lbs, 3 oz and is 20.5 inches long. His hair is blonde and he smells delicious. I can't wait to see him again. And no, I don't wish I had one of my own, thank you very much.

Trav 1, Mt. Nebo 0

He did it! Trav finally conquered all 11,877 feet of Mt. Nebo! It was a 16-mile roundtrip straight-up/straight-down hike (that he won't admit he's a just little sore from) in which he encountered tracks from a big black bear, a little snow, lots of altitude, and only two or three people all day.
